At Metal For Good, everything we do is powered by community. From our Metal Collective members to the artists, partners and supporters who back us, the charity exists because people believe in the power of music to change lives. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a small number of brilliant volunteers to join us behind the scenes and help take things to the next level.
Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering with Metal For Good isn’t just about giving your time – it’s about being part of something bigger.
You’ll be joining a passionate, values-driven small team rooted in the rock and metal scene. We’re looking for some support to help us tell powerful stories, engage our supporters and enable more fundraising.
Your contribution will directly support grassroots projects using music to improve lives, and it an amazing chance to build experience, develop skills, and work closely with a small, ambitious team making a real impact.
Current opportunities
We’re currently recruiting for two flexible volunteer roles (around 2–3 days per month):
Membership Communications Lead
Help us grow and engage our Metal Collective community through compelling emails and supporter communications. If you’ve got experience with CRM systems, Mailchimp and writing content that connects, this is a great opportunity to shape how we speak to our members. The Membership Communications Lead volunteer role description can be found here.
Community Fundraising Lead
Support the incredible individuals who raise money for Metal For Good – whether that’s through challenge events, personal campaigns or community fundraising. You’ll help guide, motivate and grow our community of supporters. The Community Fundraising Lead volunteer role description can be found here.
Both roles are flexible, based remotely, and ideal for someone who wants to use their skills to support a cause changing lives through the power of music.
If you’re interested in getting involved please send us your CV and an email/short video explaining why you would be a good fit for the role to hello@metalforgood.org
