Members of our unique supporters club, the Metal Collective have been invited to vote on their favourite shortlisted community project using music to change lives. As a member of the MC, you have exclusive voting rights – helping us to decide how our funding gets distributed. Following an overwhelming response to our recent call for funding applications, six incredible projects have been chosen to receive funding. The most popular, as voted for by the MC, will receive £3000, with the remaining five receiving awards of £2000 and £1000 respectively.
We’re delighted to share that the shortlisted projects are:
- Arts Connection – Cyswllt Celf: No Strings Attached
- Heads Above the Waves: Self Harm Schools Workshops
- Lancaster Music Festival: Massive Wagons: Forget the Haters Primary School Tour
- Middle Eastern Women and Society Organisation: Hear My Voice
- Multicultural Cumbria: One Voice Multicultural Choir
- Patchwork Studios: Youth Music Lab
Voting closes on the 4th November, so there is still time to join the Metal Collective for £5 a month, and have a say in how funding gets distributed to these incredible organisations. You will also receive some incredible discounts and offers from some of our partners including Eyesore Merch, Primordial Radio and The Heavy Metal Hairdresser!
