We’re delighted to announce that Laney Amplification has come on board as one of our supporting partners.

Metal For Good will be working closely with Laney to develop a partnership that raises valuable funds to support our mission to make a positive difference in communities through the values of rock, metal and other alternative subcultures.

Laney’s metal credentials are unparalleled. When Lyndon Laney needed an amp for his band in 1966, little did he know that the amp he made was the start of a long journey, a journey spanning over 50 years and every continent on the planet.

Metal For Good co-founder Katy Baker said: “Laney’s metal heritage and connection to local communities make them an ideal partner for Metal For Good. We can’t wait to work with them to raise funding for incredible community organisations using music to change lives.”

Laney is synonymous with the rock and metal genre, having produced the iconic and genre-defining LA100BL Supergroup 1967, an amp used by the godfather of metal Tony Iommi.

To this day, Laney produces high-quality British guitar and bass amplifiers and continues to be a proud family business based near the ‘home of metal’ in the West Midlands.

Fenn Alexander from Laney said: “We are thrilled to be connected with such a great charity like Metal For Good. Their vision to help and create long lasting effects on communities and young people to explore the power of music and the metal genre is something that aligns perfectly with the core values of the Laney Amplification™ brand.

“Having been the amplifier of choice for the founding fathers of metal, it makes sense that we work together and help people who need it!”

More details on this partnership will be announced very soon!
