Heriot

Heriot were originally formed in late 2014 by drummer Julian Gage, bassist and vocalist Jake Packer and guitarist Erhan Alman. In 2019, Heriot added vocalist and guitarist Debbie Gough (of the Birmingham-based Dead Hands) to their line-up.

Heriot blends industrial soundscapes and ethereal vocals contrasting with HM-2 aggression to create an uncommon invention of metal. Heriot’s character rests on a razor blade, chaotically flickering between devastation and ease.

Having caught the attention of Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Revolver, Knotfest and Radio 1’s Daniel P Carter, the band signed to Church Road Records. The band released their critically acclaimed debut EP ‘Profound Morality’ in April 2022. Heriot have been described as one of the most exciting bands in UK Metal of recent years, and have recently been found supporting Lamb Of God and playing Slam Dunk, Download and Waken Festivals.

“Metal for Good are an incredibly important charity for the heavy music scene. The work that they do to enrich our community is truly fantastic and we’re very proud to become ambassadors.”
