Kylie Olsson

Award winning presenter, Music Journalist, Author and Director, Kylie has interviewed some of the biggest names in music for the likes of Sky Arts, VH1 America, MTV, Planet Rock and the BBC and has toured with bands such as Def Leppard and Joe Bonamassa along with working The Rolling stones on their exhibition Exhibitionism. She is also on the voting committee for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Kylie can regularly be seen in a field reporting from a music festival such as Download Festival, which she has covered for Sky Arts for the last 10 years and at award shows such as The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards and The Heavy Music Awards.

A regular contributor to Classic Rock Magazine, she has also produced acclaimed music documentaries for the BBC and authored ‘The Art of Metal’ for Omnibus Publishing and ‘Rock, A Life Story’.

During Lockdown she decided to fulfil a life-long ambition of learning to play the guitar and has since turned this into a show on YouTube called ‘Life in Six Strings’ where she chats to famous guitarists about their love of the guitar and the effect it’s had on their life.
