We’re kicking off 2023 with a bang, and a special announcement. We’re thrilled to tell you that we have a new partner in the form of Primordial Radio!
Primordial Radio have come on board to join us in our mission to support community groups and organisations that harness the power of music to change lives for the better. Dedicated to bringing their loyal family of listeners the best rock and metal music around, along with other splendid content, we’re absolutely delighted to welcome Primordial to the MFG family.
When online radio station Team Rock went bust in December 2016, presenters Moose, Dewsbury, Pete and Mark were all made redundant. Determined to keep calm and rock on, the gang crowdfunded with their loyal fan base to launch Primordial Radio in January 2017, and the rest is history.
Primordial’s CEO Hugh Evans (Moose) (who also happens to be the Chairs of Trustees here at MFG) and the rest of the Primordial team have committed to having MFG as their only charity partner moving forward, and we’re so grateful for their support.
Moose said:
“Metal For Good, like Primordial Radio, are intimately aware the rock and metal community is inherently full of good individuals who help people up when they see they are down. This partnership simply joins two like minded organisations to maximise results to make a real impact.”

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Primordial Radio. Their strapline of Rock/Metal/Community sums up EVERYTHING that they stand for. Their commitment to championing new music and supporting the fantastic community of rock and metal fans aligns perfectly with the values and ethos of Metal For Good. We’re excited to become an extended part of the Primordial Family and use the power of music for positive social change.”
