Andy Gilmour

Andy is a passionate and accomplished musician. His love of music started from a young age and after completing Performing Arts qualifications, he has been involved in forming successful bands and continues to enjoy writing, recording and performing as well as being involved in various other musical projects.

Andy is a founding member of Hundred Reasons, and since 1999 they have released five studio albums, a live DVD, three live albums, had six Top 40 singles, two Top 20 albums and sold over 300,000 records. They toured the world several times including the US at SXSW Festival and Japan.

In 2008 Andy Formed a new band called Freeze the Atlantic With Guy Davis and Jon Pearce (Reuben), and over 10 years released 3 well received albums.

As of 2019 Andy joined his old Friends in Raging Speedhorn to help them with their vacant bassist slot. Shortly after he realised that it was too much fun and officially joined the band. The group has gone on to play many shows (including shows in Ibiza!) and continue to work on new material.

In 2022 Andy joined his Freeze The Atlantic front man Liv and 2 other musicians to form a band called Hectares.

As well as performing in his own bands, Andy is also keen to get involved in other projects. He was a part of Rocked in 2006.
