We’re delighted to announce that six brilliant organisations will receive a share of £10,000 through our latest grant funding round, with Metal Collective members voting on how the funding should be distributed.
Make Some Noise received £3,000 for The Rockstar Treatment, a creative programme supporting pupils at a specialist school in Tamworth. Through songwriting, performance and music production, participants will build confidence, develop new skills, gain qualifications and become peer mentors, culminating in a youth-led tour.
Landseer Road Methodist Church received £2,000 for Amplified, a new rock and metal programme for teenagers in one of Ipswich’s most deprived neighbourhoods. The project will provide free access to instruments, specialist tuition and youth-led sessions, with a particular focus on young people who are disengaged from education.
The Irene Taylor Trust received £2,000 for Making Tracks, supporting young people aged 16–24 who are experiencing challenging circumstances. Participants will work together to write, record and perform original music, building self-belief, relationships and pathways into education, employment and further creative opportunities.

Together, these projects will use music to improve mental health and wellbeing, reduce isolation, remove financial barriers to participation and help people develop confidence, creativity and a stronger sense of belonging.
